He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Agnes Meiwes brothers, Stephen and Harold Meiwes and sister, Rose (Meiwes) Hodges. John married Jeanne Elizabeth (Wooley) Todd on March 23, 2007, at Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and they enjoyed 17 years together. She lived in the Union City and Minco, OK area for many years.
John had the opportunity to be in a commercial for Standridge John Deer and also a Farm Credit advertisement and article for the Farmer’s Journal, which he was very proud of.
